We are pleased to announce that Emmaye Adoptees Family Reunion Charity Organization has been awarded a grant of €8,000 by the French Embassy in Addis Ababa to implement a special family reunification programme during 2026.
This grant will fully support five (5) Ethiopian adoptees who were adopted to France by providing comprehensive, free-of-charge family search and reunification services in Ethiopia.
The grant covers:
- Comprehensive family search and tracing in Ethiopia;
- Accommodation at the Emmaye Adoptees Guesthouse, including meals throughout the stay;
- Psychological support before, during, and after the reunification process;
- Preparation and counseling of the biological families prior to the reunion;
- Professional translation and interpretation services throughout the entire process.
This programme is exclusively available to Ethiopian adoptees who were adopted to France, regardless of their current country of residence.
Places are limited to five participants and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants who complete their registration.
